I have such fond memories of visiting Temple Square with my family as a child. We lived in Southern California and our visits to Temple Square came during family vacations and visits to my dad's family in Utah. Now that I am a parent I want to give my boys the same wonderful experiences that I had growing up. This was our first day at Temple Square as a family.
Adam still wasn't all that keen on our trip when we made our first stop at the Tabernacle. It takes him a while to warm up to things.
Caleb and James were fine with the whole thing although they didn't fully appreciate how amazing it was to be there. Maybe James did.....
This is Adam trying to hide from my camera.
Sorry this one is fuzzy. Nobody can sit still.
Still appreciating the moment........
Adam and Caleb really loved both of the Visitor Centers. Adam was especially interested in the "Mountain Of The Lord" exhibit. So many tools and railroad oriented items.
Looking at the crane that lifted and carried the granite.
Just moments before I took this picture Caleb ran up to it, yelling excitedly and pointing. He can't really talk yet but I know he knew who it was. Adam doesn't seem all that thrilled but I had to take the picture anyway to remember the moment.
The fountain around the Seagull Monument. The boys had way too much fun here. It will probably be the only thing that Adam remembers from our trip.
I'm sure there is probably a rule against touching the water but I had to be a bad parent just this once.
Such a cute boy.
Such a cute baby. He wanted so badly to be with the boys playing in the fountain. Maybe next year.
This is inside the Assembly Hall. Adam had chippered up by then. Caleb and James on the other hand.......
A balancing act.
This was supposed to be a wonderful picture but......at least my sexy husband is smiling.
A boy and the Salt Lake Temple. Precious.
A sulking boy and the Salt Lake Temple. He got hungry all the sudden and our happy Adam turned sour. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted.
A cute husband and the Salt Lake Temple. Amazing!
Our family picture. One day I hope that we all can smile in the right direction.
Team Berg was here!
