Waiting For Adam

Adam started school this year which means that for four hours of every weekday our house is missing a Berg boy. I must confess that I still feel a little apprehension as they load him onto the bus each morning and he is never far from my thoughts while he is away. Sappy mom, I know. Caleb also feels Adam's absence dreadfully. Since James tends to sleep late, I am often Caleb's "friend" for a few hours until other brothers appear. I must say that I think people who have only one child by choice are crazy. It is so nice to be able to say "Why don't you go play with your brother for a little while" and have it work to my benefit.

When Adam is about to come home from school, I get the younger three boys ready and we sit outside and wait for the bus. They think this is a real treat and usually get free range outside because all of the other kids in the complex are either inside or at school. Here is some documentation for one of our waiting periods.

I have no idea where that particular bruise came from but he carries it well.

Just a cute boy.

Lovin' those big brown eyes.

As usual, sporting his most recent meal.

Babies are so cute.

My daring duo. We love waiting for Adam.
