When Rebekah was a newborn I did a newborn photoshoot so I could have baby announcements made. When the announcements were delivered to our house, I realized that Rebekah's jaundice made her look orange in all the pictures. I did not want an orange baby on our announcements so I decided to retake the pictures and try again. The following pictures are what resulted once the boys realized what I was doing and decided they wanted to participate in the photoshoot as well. Let's just say it was a busy few hours.
Adam has gotten so good at smiling for the camera.
Such a sweet face.
Caleb has entered a quirky picture taking phase. It seems he just doesn't know how to smile naturally anymore. I think (hope) it's just a phase.
Still, he gives it his best shot.
James is so photogenic. I Love those pretty brown eyes.
These two are best friends.
And these four are mine. I love every one of them.
Dog pile on Adam!
Man, they are getting old.

Rebekah finally woke up to have her turn for pictures. She couldn't quite focus on the camera at first because she almost immediately found her hands and they were so very fascinating.
When she finally saw the camera this was her attitude towards it. Not exactly the picture I was looking for for a birth announcement.
I finally had to hold the camera beside me in midair and hit the shutter button blindly while I talked to her.
Thankfully, it was all worth it in the end and I got a beautiful picture to make a beautiful announcement for a beautiful girl. Kisses for those cheeks!
