Rebekah Is Pink

Rebekah is pink. As I was going through the May pictures I realized we must be truly charmed by her pinkness as there were way too many of her. Is that possible? Maybe not. Anyway, this month our baby girl gets her own blog post just for being pink.

Rebekah loves to color, cut, glue, and do any artsy activity. As you can see, she gets really into her work.

Gabby takes good care of Rebekah and never makes any sign of being irritated with her even though Rebekah often shows Gabby her toddler side.

This girl loves to help in the kitchen and especially loves when Kate makes something sweet. This was her first time getting the beater to herself. She was quite impressed.

Rebekah thinks my phone is hers because it has a pink case. She will look at me, pick it up, and say "My phone." When I correct her by saying "No, my phone" she will look at me and say "It's pink." Beware citizens of planet Earth. Everything pink belongs to Rebekah.

This girl is so sweet!

It was time for Rebekah to leave her crib in May. I usually don't take babies out of their cribs before they can crawl out themselves but I was wanting to de-junk the storage room and the toddler bed was taking up space.

Rebekah was not sure if she liked the idea of a new bed.

We tried putting Gabby in it to convince her it was safe.

When that didn't work we tried putting half of Eric in it.

She finally consented to sit in it.

Then lay in it.

Then rejoice in the freedom of having a beautiful grown-up bed all to herself.
