March marked a big change for The Berg Family. We found a project house in the hills and had to sell our cute little home in Orem in order to make the move.
Once the house was sold alot of the furniture was moved to the new house. Rebekah and David didn't seem to mind the new arrangements for the tv.
The bunk beds went as well and the boys' room was mostly mattresses for a few nights.
The woman who bought our house wanted the chickens as well. I was happy to acquiesce because I couldn't move their coop without breaking it and had no time to build another one at the new house. Adam and Caleb were very sad to leave the chickens which I thought was sort of amusing since they paid so little attention to the chickens when we had them.
Our grand moving truck. We rented a smaller one to be able to back it safely down our new windy driveway. The size of the truck meant we had to make many more trips than we wanted to but everything made it where we were going and that's all that matters.
Uncle Joseph and Eric moving the freezer. That sure is a heavy cord Eric's got there ;)
Uncle Kevin and Uncle Joseph trying to close our overfilled moving truck. It clicked shut right before they were ready to give up their fight.
The last thing we moved were our cats. We put them in the dog kennel in the back of the moving truck. They were NOT happy with our choice.
Lizzie pleading with James to release her. He doesn't seem swayed.
Adam and Caleb took advantage of battling on a random stack of cushions during the moving process.
It did not end well.
Rebekah locked herself in the van during one of the trips. Luckily the van won't lock with the keys inside and she was quickly retrieved.
Uncle Joseph and Aunt Kate entertained the kids while Eric and I made one last trip. Uncle Joseph was super helpful as you can see here. Moving sure is painful. I'm hopeful that we won't have to do it again for a long time.
