In December I was driving to California with the kids, Aunt Kate, and Grandma Pamela in the van when we slid on black ice and ran into a trailer traveling in the lane next to us. Is was a shocking experience and our little van took the brunt of it. Luckily, none of us was injured. However, we were unable to drive the car any further and had to wait in Beaver for a bit while Eric and Uncle Joseph traveled to come save us.
Poor little van.
It got the front too.
Luckily there was a Dairy Queen in Beaver and everyone enjoyed some ice cream while we waited.
Ice Cream is great.
We love it.
Goodbye van. We left her in a junkyard all by herself. I cried as I walked away.
The new car was a Subaru and, while I didn't feel the same about it, I was grateful that we had the means to purchase a new one.
