Better late than never

Well, I guess 5 posts in 17 months isn’t really that bad. I mean, I could have put it off even longer and then where would we be. We are doing awesome here in the great state of Idaho. It is far too cold for me and Adam but Eric seems to be thriving on it. He makes the mile long trek to school nearly every day. I think he is crazy. Classes are going well for us. Eric has some interesting teachers and I am discovering that Macroeconomics is boring but other than that we enjoy being students. It is nice to have so much time together at home.

Adam is growing quickly. He is six months old now and happy as can be. He has taught himself to roll across the living room floor when he sees something he likes. We would prefer him to crawl but he has never done anything in a way or time that was convenient to us. His favorite game is trying to roll off the couch when we least expect it. Sometimes he really gets some speed going and he ends up flying through the air. Luckily his dad has some pretty fast reflexes and can catch him midair. He loves his momma’s cooking, especially anything sweet or fatty. He used to enjoy baby food but now he seems to know that nobody in their right mind would eat that stuff. Now he just holds his mouth shut when I try to feed it to him. Airplanes, trains, rockets, it has all been in vain. I’m sure he will blame me for his bad eating habits later on in life.
