Trip to California

Adam and I just got back from our five day vacation to California. My brother and sister went to the temple for the first time and I had the blessing of being there with them and the rest of my family. It was a wonderful experience. Both Eric and I got very little sleep during those nights apart but it was worth the sacrifice and he is a wonderful husband to for encouraging me to go. Grandma and Grandpa were both so happy to see their little grandbaby and he was thrilled to see them as well. You could tell as soon as he set eyes on them that he remembered them well. They were pretty cute to watch and it was a relief to finally be able to hand my wriggling, squirming baby to someone else for a little while. He has hit the stage where he has to see, touch, taste, and experience everything all at once. He never stops and both of us are exhausted when bedtime hits. The airplane ride home was much calmer because Adam fell asleep. I was so grateful. All in all it was an exciting and fulfilling trip.
