Doesn't my baby have the sweetest face? I can make that statement because it is the exact replica of his brother's face from two and a half years ago. I swear they were meant to be twins.

This was Caleb's first outfit. His grandma bought it for him to wear when he come home from the hospital. I'm not a big fan of yellow duckies in general but the bright colors amuse me. Eric has tried unsuccessfully to get the outfit banned as it is an item that does not promote manliness. Luckily for him Caleb is growing at an alarming rate and the duckies will soon have to be tucked away in a storage bin.

Poor Caleb had sort of a rough start physically. One of his issues was jaundice. This was the bilibed they loaned us to cure it. He spent four days and three nights in it and cried most of the time. To top it all off we had to go to the lab everyday to get his blood taken. I was not a very happy mother. On a happier note: The blue light from the bilibed gave our room an ultraviolet glow that made for the perfect nightlight.

Eric and Caleb in the hospital. Caleb is about the size of Eric's hand.

Me and Caleb in the hospital. One nice thing about having a c-section is that you don't look like you have been though a war zone just a small skirmish.

Adam and Eric have created a fun new game. Eric lays on his back, flys Adam high up in the air, shakes him like a rag doll so Adam can experience turbulence, and then stands him on his knees. It took Eric a while to convince Adam that he wasn't going to drop him. Adam loves flying now and, as you can tell, is quite impressed with himself for accomplishing it.

Adam with the new bubble gun that grandma bought him. Adam loves when grandma visits because not only does he have another playmate who devotes all attention to him, he also gets new toys almost everyday.

Adam visiting Caleb on his second day of life. The first visit Adam wasn't so keen on Caleb but the second and third visits were much better. Adam now loves to kiss Caleb and hold him when he isn't crying. He also loves to wait until I'm not looking to maul Caleb and see if he can wake him up. Such a well mannered boy.

You can see how much Adam loves his new brother.

Adam as a pirate. As you can see, the patch is big enough to cover both his eyes and his nose. Beware of the cyclops pirate.
