Eric and I decided that we would like to have a little bit of Christmas at our house this year. We drove home from Burley on Christmas day and told Adam that Santa would be visiting our house the next day. Caleb is still obtuse to everything except where his mother is at any given time. Eric and I stayed up a little late wrapping presents and filling stockings and when the boys woke up we had a wonderful Christmas morning.
Adam in front of our tiny tree. You can't really tell but the pre-lit lights are out about half way up. We will need a new one for next year.
Adam helping Caleb to open his gift. Caleb didn't really get the whole opening thing. He did like the darts from Adam's nerf gun though.
Caleb's gift. All he has to do is hit it and it makes noise. He thinks it is just amazing.
Adam's new toy: a house for his train cars. Thanks to his grandparents Adam has a rather extensive train set. This was one more piece for his fun. As you can see, Caleb thinks whatever Adam has is the most astounding thing ever.
Adam admiring his new clay set. He has had tons of fun with it so far. Caleb has had tons of fun trying to eat the clay.
All in all I would say that the holiday season has been very good to us this year. Thanks to all the parents and grandparents who have made it happen. Thanks as well to Heavenly Father who sent his Son to bless mankind and offer us salvation. I love Christmas because we get to celebrate his birth and share his light with those around us. We are so blessed to know him.
