Day two of the Berg Family visit was, in my opinion, even more exciting than the first. Last year Eric's parents had given everyone the choice to forgo the usual annual birthday cash and instead buy tickets to Wicked and see it as a family. Eric and I both love the theatre (my love stems from seeing numerous productions with my Grandma Bev when I was younger and Eric's from seeing numerous productions while participating in a theatre club while attending USMMA in New York). It was sort of a no-brainer for us. My father-in-law was kind enough to let me pick the date, probably because he knows how hesitant I am to leave my children for long periods of time. I picked the date that would make Caleb the oldest possible when we went and thought I was pretty smart. Of course, a few months later we found out that we were getting James and my whole plan was thrown off. Thankfully we were able to find wonderful sitters for everyone and all was well.
Wicked was wonderful. It fulfilled all of my expectations and then some. I am so grateful that Eric and I had the opportunity to go and enjoy ourselves for a few hours. How grateful I am that I married into a family that I truly love and that I know loves me back. I am very blessed.
Thank you Logan and Cheryl!
After Wicked we all went back to the Hotel to swim in their indoor pool. Generally Adam doesn't get in the water because of his SPD but this time the fun everyone else was having was just too much to resist. Caleb thought being in the pool was only fun if he was trying to drown himself. Talk about making a mother's heart stop. They never left the jacuzzi that night but boy did they have fun.
I love this boy.
Having way too much fun. Where is the flotation devise for that little one?
What a face.
Adam and Jasie. Goodness she is beautiful
Adam, Suzie, Alli, and Jasie.
Alli kept trying to get in all the pictures I was taking. I loved it. What a cute girl.
Eric, Adam, and Alli.
Cody, Rylan, and Drayke. There was some child throwing that went on seconds after I took this picture.
Caleb wanting to almost drown again.
James and I did not swim (thank goodness) although James had gone swimming earlier in the day while we were at Wicked. James refuses to smile unless he has a full stomach or unless he is trying to convince me he is cute enough to feed. This is obviously neither of those times.

Oh, I LOVE Wicked! I got to see it this summer, and now swear I will fork out the cash for it whenever I again get the chance. So glad you got to go!
