I HATE Spiders. They are creepy, they have too many legs and way too many eyes, they climb up walls and furniture, they bite..........and they love basement apartments. Why do we always end up living in basement apartments? We have been getting HUGE spiders recently. After much research and evaluation we have decided that they are Giant Wolf Spiders.
Giant Wolf Spiders are doubly creepy because they don't act like normal house spiders. They hunt their prey instead of waiting to trap it and mother Wolf Spiders carry their babies around with them instead of leaving them to hatch on their own. Yuck ! Yuck! Yuck!
I don't understand why bugs enter my home. They are obviously too dense to realize that a sudden and ignominious death awaits them here. I have no tolerance for uninvited things that may endanger my boys and even though I shudder at the sight of them I will eagerly smack them dead at the slightest provocation.
The size of our spiders. I stole this image from the internet. There is no way I would hold one of these.

A picture of a dead mother Wolf Spider (top left-hand corner) who had been carrying around her hatched children on her back until I smacked her dead and vacuumed up her and her children (the black dots on the tile).
