Bath Time

My boys love bath time. Absolutely love it. As their mother, I have mixed feelings about bath time. After all, it's alot of work for me. ALOT of work. However, when I see them all happily crammed in one small space together, busily soaking the entirety of the bathroom, I can't help but smile. They are so blessed to have each other.

David's "I can't believe I get to take a bath!" face.

David is always more amazed by the bathtub than his brothers are. They are too experienced to be thrilled by the basics.

These two really enjoy each other as long as the little one doesn't take the big one's stuff and the big one doesn't body check the little one in play or exasperation.

Was there ever a happier baby?

My sweet James and his cup. James uses his cup to dump large quantities of water on the bathroom floor over and over again. He is the only one of the four that does this. He finds such delight in it that I have a hard time taking his cup away.

Hello Willich ears.

Eventually the bathtub becomes a little more chaotic and I start to worry about people's safety.

Around this time I lunge for the baby in frantic protective desperation only to have him stare at me in confusion and disappointment. Mom is such a worrywart.
