The Berg Boys were blessed with the opportunity to make frosted sugar cookies with Grandma Pamela this visit. They enjoyed every minute of it and we enjoyed giving them something to do that didn't involve being in the hot sun outside.
The three oldest cutting out the cookies. Adam is always so good at giving directions.
James was a very careful cookie dough roller.
Caleb was a very precise cookie dough cutter.
James insisted on cutting his cookies out of the middle of the dough which meant rolling out the dough multiple times. Perhaps this was his plan all along since he was such an avid dough roller.
David made himself handy by getting into the leftover parchment paper while we worked. Oh David....
After the rolling, cutting, and cooking, came the frosting. My James was a very careful cookie froster.
Adam took his time too since he hates getting messy.
Caleb was only concerned with the amount of sprinkles he could use on each cookie. This boy loves his sprinkles.
A happy cookie eater. As you can see, he went all blue with his decorations. As always, remaining true to form.
Caleb figured that a butter knife would do when cookies were lacking...
I convinced David to eat lunch instead of frost cookies because I didn't want to clean up multiple things multiple times. He paid me back for my silliness by leaning way too far out of the highchair to turn off the lights in the room.
He would gladly give up frosting cookies for an opportunity to torture his poor mother.
James was most pleased with the way his cookies turned out.
They were too beautiful to pick up and he opted for eating them without hands instead.
Lovin' that blue face!
