Wild Animal Park

We traveled down to California in February so we could get one last visit in before Rebekah came. The boys are not fans of the drive but they are big fans of our California activities. We started our trip with another visit to the Wild Animal Park in San Diego.

The Berg Boys all wanted to climb on this rhino at once. Unfortunately, it was a little tall for most of them.

Adam finally figured it out.

And dad was happy to lend a hand to others who are currently more vertically challenged.

James having the time of his life being first in line on the rhino.

It was pretty warm the day we went and David took many water breaks to rehydrate.

My amazingly photogenic James.

My worried Caleb. I can't remember why he was worried but you can see it was a very stressful moment.

Hello Jimmer!

David taking another water break with Grandpa.

My sweet Adam.

Oh my goodness I need to eat his cheeks!

Grandpa Todd showed James this other rhino while they were alone for a moment. James thought the special attention was awesome.

Lots of Berg Boys on a lion. Watch out random toddler! Run!

Caleb quickly got over his stressful moment and took a timeout from the hot sun in this hive. Goodness he is cute.

As is this one!

After our time on the playground we went back to the bird show which has turned into a favorite among our family. James took turns sitting on people's laps to see. Grandpa Todd had the first privilege.

Dad was next.

Caleb was so tired during the show that I thought he would fall asleep sitting up. Poor thing had had too much fun.

My cute husband and some sons appreciating some bird antics.

I am so very blessed to have these men in my life!
