Swimming With The Bergs

In March we were blessed with a visit from the main Berg crew. We were very happy to see them and spend some time swimming in the pool at their hotel. Life was amazingly good.

Eric trying to convince everyone to get into the water for the first time. There was obviously some initial caution there. We tried to prepare for our swimming adventure as best we could. Unfortunately we forgot to buy a new vest for David before we went. Since he has no common sense I was constantly living in fear that he would just walk into the water and drown. Thankfully no such thing happened.

This one is for James's face. The water must have been a little cold.

And this one is for David's face. My fourth-born is crazy!

David spent some time in Jasie's willing arms. He likes her quite a bit.

Caleb climbed aboard Eric's back. As you can see, Adam thought that was a pretty good idea too.

Eric the ferry.

Caleb didn't want to let go at the end of the ride. Poor Eric. That doesn't look comfortable.

When Caleb finally let go of his dad he discovered he could swim alone with the help of his life vest. From then on he was a man on the move.

Adam loves to swim and was so excited to go.

He is a very efficient dog paddler.

James also took a turn with the amazing Jasie.

He was very enamored.

David and dad sharing a private joke. Such cute boys.

After some time in the swimming pool everyone climbed into the hot tub for a moment to warm up.

They thought the company there was wonderful.

Another private joke.

David thinks everything in life is amazing.

James spent lots of time with Grandpa Logan this trip. Lovin' this hug.

Grandpa Logan even spent time teaching James some swimming basics. James loved the personal attention.

Eric thinks David is so funny.

My two oldest sharing a brotherly moment of conversation.

Yeah. We had a pretty amazing time.
