Grandpa has a fountain in the front yard that makes my nervous mother side switch into high gear. I am always afraid one of the boys will wander out the front door without me knowing and drown before I even know they are gone. Unfortunately, my concerns about the fountain have not transferred to my offspring and they LOVE every part of the fountain.
Grandpa had emptied the fountain before we got there because he knows how much I worry about it. However, the day before we left he filled it back up with the boys' help and they were thrilled.
Adam trying to stop the flow of the fountain.
Caleb was obviously a little thirsty.
James loving the feel of the water on his skin.
David almost falling in.
My four hoodlums.
Jessie was so grateful Grandpa filled up the fountain. She had been hot for days.
Caleb trying for another drink.
Grandpa took pity on him and offered him some yummy hose water.
Adam thought it looked good enough to drink too.
James was too busy playing in the fountain to notice the hose.
Way too busy.
And deliriously happy.
No. Seriously. Way too happy......
