The Randomness Of September

Random moments that I would like to remember.

Alyson was nice enough to give the boys a teeter-totter. They were so happy to add another toy to our yard.

Caleb built this amazing ray gun all by himself. My boys are so talented.

The boys finished their first round of school which resulted in them earning their first Skylander. They were beyond excited and so was I. Homeschooling has been fun for everyone so far.

James wanted to make sure his contribution to earning the Skylander was documented as well.

Caleb hurt his eye one day and I tried to throw together a patch so he could rest it for a bit without rubbing it. Unfortunately, I am not a very good patch maker and it failed big time. Oh well. Better luck with the next eye injury.

We neutered both Ninja and Bosley on the same day which meant they had to wear these cones for a week. It was pretty funny to watch them gallop around the yard with them on.

One day we made reconstituted crayons in the oven for a school activity (James divided the broken crayons into color groups before we baked them) and ended up with these pretty things.

Caleb thought the whole project was so fun that I later found him downstairs purposely breaking crayons so we could make more.

This is Lizzie. We brought her home from Burley with us. The boys adore her and she is so patient with them which is amazing because, more often than not, they deserve a swift scratch across the face for their treatment of her. She is our new favorite toy.

The boys decided one day that everything in the backyard should be put in the playhouse. The backyard was very clean until they pulled it all out a few days later.

Caleb and James found some markers one day while I was cleaning the house. This particular piece was commissioned by James and created by Caleb. You clean up one mess and they are already busy making another. I love these boys!
