In February my dad received The Silver Beaver Award from the Boy Scouts Of America. I am so proud of him and his amazing accomplishment. There was a banquet held to recognize him and his fellow award winners and Eric and I drove down to California with the kids so that we could attend and see him receive his award in person. It was totally worth the drive!

Pamela was asked to be up on stage with dad while he received his award. They gave her a rose in recognition of all the support she has given him during his time in scouting.

This is one of my favorite pictures that I took that night. Through the years my dad has dedicated so much of his time and efforts to scouting. No one deserved the award he is holding more than he did and yet he looks so amazed and honored to have received it. What a wonderful man.
