Easter 2016

Easter is an amazing holiday and our family attempted to make the most of it this year. The kids keep getting older and more fun to be with as time goes on and I love having traditions that they remember from year to year.

We boiled enough eggs for everyone to dye four with a few left over as extras. However, my rambunctious children soon made sure than more than just the allotted extras had some cracks in them.

David loved to dye eggs. Most of his were brown after he was done because he liked to re-dye them after he had dyed them.......

It was serious business for this boy.

Caleb's long reach.

Adam's perfect green egg. Love it!

David's finished product.

James couldn't bear to let me take a picture of his eggs without him in it.

Amazing edible (almost) eggs!

Easter Sunday meant a beautiful new Easter dress for this girl. Unfortunately, she hated it. She is still not walking and it was too long for her to crawl comfortably. Let's just say I was not her favorite person for choosing this particular outfit. Isn't she adorable though!? Seriously, I have waited years for this moment.

These amazing individuals belong to me. Goodness I love them!

I guess they used up their picture taking faces for their dad's picture.....

Aunt Kate was nice enough to bring the boys a game as an Easter present. They loved it!

This and a sandbox for outside were our Easter presents for the year. We usually do individual baskets but we needed new outside toys anyway so we made the most of it.

Busily exploring their gifts.

Happy boy.

Ditto.

Double ditto.

This sweet girl spent present opening time in her high-chair. She didn't seem to mind.

Easter isn't complete without an Easter Egg Hunt. Rebekah thought the whole thing was AMAZING!

She even convinced Andrew that it was AMAZING!

Some of my egg searchers.

Adam looks like he is about to go in for the kill there.....

Sethers was a very good finder.

James on the go.

James, looking very proud of all the eggs he collected.

Caleb was too preoccupied with all his eggs to even focus on the camera.

This is my very sweet boy.

Yay Seth!

Look at all that loot! Actually, there was minimal candy in each egg. We get smarter as parents as the years go by....

A picnic of Easter Eggs.

Kevin took some of the empty eggs and made himself a necklace.

And them he wanted to share it with his wife.

And then Caleb borrowed it.

And finally James. Goodness these two make a cute pair! Happy Easter!
