The Randomness Of April

The random moments of my April:

I got me some chickens. There are six because that's how many the city of Orem will allow me to have. The rules also state that I can't refer to them as pets. They won't start laying until the end of July but they are pretty cute to stare at while I wait.

Work started on my enormous garden box. Joseph and I dug the post holes and Eric and Joseph set the posts in concrete.

Some workers from Eric's company came to build the box a few days later.

It turned out amazing! The boys had so much fun using it as a fort before we filled it with dirt.

We spend alot of time outside now that it is spring. James loves my flowers.

David loves his freedom. He does not do well in small spaces. Or should I say, my things do not do well when he is in small spaces.

Toys galore for the dirt boy.

I can't tell you how much fun it is to dress someone in little girl clothes. So, so cute! And I love the little girl in the clothes so much!

Even though she eats dirt.

Lots of dirt. She must be missing some sort of mineral because she heads for the dirt as soon as I let her outside.

It doesn't help that these two are so good at making dirt look appealing :/

These two have quickly become best friends. My two bookends.

David brought this to me one day and told me it was Grandpa. I think he was talking about Grandpa Logan but I can't be sure ;)

This boy has horrible sleeping habits and still dozes off everywhere.

Yes, everywhere. It seems yoga-ish, right?

This amazing boy learned how to spell his name and I love it! He has a quick mind and is so eager to learn everything I can throw at him. What a wonderful month!
