James is 5! I love this boy! He is my cuddler, my ham, and my night-owl and I loved celebrating his birthday this year. As parents we have been trying to give the kids family outings instead of presents for their birthdays but James really wanted a Nintendo 3DS so we pooled EVERYONE'S money and got him what he wanted: a used 3DS with a few games thrown in as well.
The boys were all a little disappointed when this was the only gift in James' pile but they quickly got over themselves.
After all, there was a pretty new electronic to play with.
And lots of little games to unwrap. What a haul!
Not to mention the fact that Aunt Lauren's money was still available for the spending.
Aunt Kate made this amazing barrel cake to celebrate James' special day.
He adored it!
