Annual Orem Summerfest baby! The Berg family was there with bells on and we loved every minute of it.
The kids were so much fun this year. I love how they are slowly turning into people.
A triumphant bounce!
Eric took his girl on a few of the rides. She was having fun. I promise.
They were too. I promise.
Caleb got some super air off the last bump of this slide and came down hard. He was tough though. What a trooper.
Jimmer and Adam slid a little more gracefully.
The David man was super brave and went all by himself.
Dad and his girl gliding to a halt.
More slide fun.
We tried to have a contest between Eric and I to see which person could spin the teacups the fastest. However, David started to pass out a few seconds into my spinning and Rebekah didn't think it was all that great. We ended up just competing to see who could keep the children happy instead.
Part of Team Berg.
Adam took Rebekah on the elephant ride which she thought was great. She loves her Adam.
These three joined forces in a second elephant.
This was my favorite ride to watch the boys on. They adored the roller coaster even more than they did last year and they had the biggest smiles every time they passed me. Eric kept yelling for them to put their hands in the air which none of them listened to. I guess it was thrilling enough without it. Maybe next year.
The swings were a Summerfest first for the Berg family. The older boys seemed to have a good time on them.
Talking while swinging.
Meanwhile, David and Bekah took a boat ride which was manned by the weirdest carnival worker ever. I thought this was very amusing because is was manned by a different but equally weird worker last year. Maybe it's tradition. I will need to check next year I guess.
Another spinning ride with my boys.
Some of my loves.
Eric paid a dollar or something for everyone to play a shooting game. Adam won and was nice enough to give his prize to James who really wanted another stuffed animal for his collection. I have such good boys.
The Orem Police Department and Fire Department always make an appearance at Summerfest. This year they had a dunk tank which Adam and James rocked. The boys also made sure they all took a turn being pretend policemen.
Almost there baby!
There's the David!
James got to sit a a real fire truck with his new stuffed animal.
Cotton candy for everyone. I was so grateful that I had brought water and wipes. They were so sticky afterwards!
Sno cones were also had by all. It was self serve and some of us weren't very good at covering our ice with flavoring. Eric was nice enough to take people back over and over again to get it right.
Rebekah was obviously tired of me taking pictures at this point.
Happiness on a bench.
Summerfest was so much fun that these two fell asleep in the stroller on the way back and finished their nap in the backyard when we got home. Having fun is hard work!
