California: Cookout

My children will no longer allow us to visit California without having a cookout with the Millward/O'Connell clan. I'm not complaining. I enjoy every minute of our time together. I do however find it amusing that a joint cookout is now a requirement for our trips. Who ingrained this idea in them?

Grandpa protecting his girl from the fire.

And Kate providing the same coverage for Andrew.

There was lots of running while the sun set in the background.

These littles are always on the move.

Grandpa is such a good hot dog cooker.

David telling Kyle one of his excited long windys.

Four boys for a teeter-totter.

And one for a playhouse.

Pretty pink.

Jodie brought Krispy Kreme doughnuts for desert and, let me tell you, they were very popular.

Grandpa needs a bigger chair.

After they were done with the donoughts, the kids moved on to otter pops. David thought Brian's chair was the perfect place to eat his.

Eating otter pops takes serious concentration.

My sweet Seth and his messy face.

Caleb and Ethan. For prosperity.

Adam and Emily because he didn't want her to leave without taking a picture with him. Oh what fun cookouts are!
