The Randomness Of December

December was pretty awesome and here are just a few of the moments we captured that I want to remember.

This little girl loves her daddy. They like to watch movies together on Sunday afternoons. Isn't that just the sweetest smile?

David and James getting ready for a Skylanders battle. From the looks of it I would say James is the guy to bet on.

Holly dug this up outside and left it on my rug. I believe that it is a cat skull. What a charming thing to find when you walk around a corner.......

Bubbles, bubbles, everywhere.

James decided to take a spider to school for show and tell. He tells me they set him free during recess. I'm sure his teacher was thrilled with my choice.

David wrote his name on a green eraser. I was very impressed with his penmanship.

These two got to go to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory with me for some treats. The resulting sugar high and sugar crash were totally worth their smiles.

Holly has her own built in sleeping mask.

Rebekah was super happy with this kitty until he got too excited and bit her a few minutes later. Her smile quickly turned to severity as she declared him a bad kitty.

Blankets and a boy in a bucket = bliss

A table barrier built by a Caleb.

Rebekah has a pink and orange dress that she thinks is pretty special.

A James burrito.

The kids decided that they needed tails for a game they were playing. Blankets obviously seemed like the best option for tail making.

Maybe they were aiming for peacock tails......

This girl wasn't wearing pants to hold her tail up so she opted for a pillow case/sack racing look instead.

My artsy Caleb loves to create.

Powered up and ready to battle something scary. I'm loving the protective goggles.

Sick babies = time on the couch with liquids and bowls. Everyone looks so sad.

Adam had to stay home from school one day and did some sensory play with David. I am loving the colors in that dyed rice.

Caleb had a desire to play tic-tac-toe and a pen and but no paper. Luckily, he had a solution for that problem.

Pink loves her blankets.

Sometimes I will walk into the family room in the morning and find one of the boys asleep on the couch. Lizzie always thinks that they serve as excellent sources of heat.

A mess of books and legos. They appear quite joyful about the whole thing.

Rebekah trying the splits.

Caleb giving it his best shot.

And James showing us his flexibility. We've got to get this boy in gymnastics! Hooray for December!
