The Suessical

Both Caleb and Adam participated in this year's musical at the school. The students in grades 2-6 performed Suessical while the 1st graders performed Green Eggs and Ham. The play itself was so painful to watch but I was so proud of my boys for participating. They both did an excellent job.

Adam was one of the backstage hands and had the very important responsibility of opening and closing the curtain. He did an awesome job until the last line was said. At that point Adam was done and he walked offstage to join his family. This happened for all three performances. No encores for the Adam man. When it's done it's done.

My handsome man at his post.

We convinced Adam to go back up after the show to receive some applause from the audience. He's up there, I promise.

See? Doesn't he look thrilled to be on stage instead of going home?

Caleb was one of the actors in Green Eggs and Ham. That's him driving the blue car. He drove it all around the stage.

The 1st graders all took alot of bows after the show. Unfortunately, Caleb's goal appeared to be to spend as little time as possible onstage and I only got a few passing glances of him as he ran from stage left to stage right. He's the one in front here.

And the one bowing lowest here. Isn't he cute!?

My three oldest on the way home from the play. And now, some scanned images of the program so everyone can see their names in print.

Behind the scenes class for Adam. He helped with set design too.

Caleb played in the May 22nd performance of Green Eggs and Ham. What an awesome experience. If you want to watch Green Eggs and Ham you are welcome to click here. I have to warn you though that it is ten minutes long and not for the faint of heart ;)
