June meant a trip down to California to see the grandparents.
Everyone has their we-will-never-get-there-and-I'm-going-crazy face on.
Kate asked for a small side salad from Carl's Jr. on the way down to California. I think they forgot the patty and the bun.
This girl loves to hang with her grandpa.
Sporting those heels again!
What an amazing super hero!
We got to visit with Miss Carly a bit while we were there and Rebekah was enchanted.
Cookie making through the ages.
Plenty of sprinkles there.
Love this boy!
Speaking of sprinkles........
She seems happy with her design.
This is a happy decorating boy.
Decorating with precision concentration.
Caleb wanted to use all the frosting colors so he could enjoy a rainbow.
Playing at Grandma's house is such hard work. Sometimes you can't even lay your head on your pillow before you fall asleep.
June in California means sun and heat. It also means Grandma provides you with all sorts of fun things to do in order to keep yourself cool like slip-n-slides.
There David goes!
Whoo hooo!!!
A face full of water....
They had so much fun.
Even Rebekah who chose not to wear her swim suit.
Ready, set, go.
One more for the road.
They also enjoyed a some time on a wet trampoline. That's one fun activity I remember from my own childhood.
Water games make my boys so tired.
Grandma Pamela and Grandma Bev were nice enough to watch Caleb put on a trampoline show. Grandma Bev is always so nice to applaud and give praise.
Rebekah found a flattened beach ball and was quite proud of it.
This girl LOVES to swing.
And Grandpa Todd is always so nice to push her.
Adam also has his moments of being a gentleman and giving the young lady a push.
Grandma bought popsicles to celebrate our visit. James was enchanted.
Caleb was in love.
Adam didn't have one but he was super cute anyway.
David's happiness at having a popsicles made up for Adam not having one.
On our way home from California we stopped at a truck stop for popcorn and other snacks. These little ones are pretty good travelers and I'm super grateful that they are willing to make the haul with me to see my parents and enjoy their love for us.
