For those of you who don't remember, Holly was loud. Super, super, super, loud. She barked constantly at everything and since she was a coonhound her barks were also accompanied by howling. Lots and lots of howling. We bought a bark collar to try and curb the noise but she learned to bark around it. Finally, (after some complaints from neighbors and one warning from the police) we decided to re-home her. The kids were pretty bummed about the whole thing.
As you can see, my tenderhearted Caleb was not ready to let go. The other children were also sad at this point but Holly, being the weirdo that she was, began to bark and howl at the excitement of everyone sitting on the couch together and most of the kids couldn't contain their laughter.
David was adequately sad.
Rebekah was trying to catch on to the fact that Holly was going.
It hit James the hardest and he still asks about her. He had the most fun with her daily antics.
Sweet Caleb. Goodbye Holly!
To stem the flow of unhappiness we got Bobby later that day after Holly left. He was originally purchased for Eric but he's a momma's boy through and through.
Rebekah and the new puppy.
Gabby loves all the new puppies we bring home but she is very possessive of her rawhide bones. Bobby should really think twice there.
In the kennel like a big dog.
Aren't they sweet together?! Hello Bobby!
