Adam turned three on Friday. We worked for three years to teach him what the term birthday meant and why he should be excited about it. I guess we finally succeeded because a week before the big day he was giving us the guest list and specifying what toys he wanted. It is so fun when he finally gets something. Now if I can just get him say "I am three" instead of saying "I will be three on my birthday" all would be well. Adam's birthday party consisted of swimming, a bbq, cake, and presents. We enjoyed all these things with friends and family.
Some of the Berg cousins and friends.

Eric and his nephew.

You will notice that the birthday boy is not in the pool. He was much happier running around and watching people than he was participating and found other ways to amuse himself.

Running.

Pushing the toy vacuum he received as a gift.

More of the same.

Playing with cups.
