There is an amazingly fun park about a mile from our house called Nielson's Park. We haven't gone there very many times because of school and finals and life in general but the boys have so much fun when we do. There is a huge playground, swings, fields of green grass, a duck pond, a dormant greenhouse, and (most importantly) lots of dirt. The pictures below also show a very rare event in the Berg household: Adam is wearing a short sleeved shirt. I wonder what we promised him to make that happen?
Adam can climb anywhere but generally demonstrates much caution when climbing as he does with everything else in life.
Dad and Adam sliding down the slide. Eric is Adam's best playmate at the park.
So happy to be there.
Adam loves the swings and would spend all day in one if we would let him. Unfortunately he doesn't know how to pump yet and a parent can only push for so long. He also has a strange fascination with the baby swings. I think they give him a level of comfort and safety.
Caleb LOVES dirt. It was definitely a bath night.
Two of my cutest boys.
Caleb loved the swings but he never smiled. He just sat in a daze while we pushed him. When we stopped he would start to yell until we started again. Their different reactions to things are so funny.
