The older boys spent some time in the snow in December. I spent time taking pictures of them from inside the house and sending them to help Eric shovel at work. To be honest, I also got them ready beforehand which takes way too long in my opinion and washed all the snow clothes afterwards. Why do people live where it snows anyway? Weird.
Anyway, the boys had a ton of fun playing in the snow although Caleb did come in crying a few times because he had gotten too cold. I blew warm air on his little hands and wrapped him in a blanket and he seemed satisfied. I was grateful that they had a good time.
Helping Eric shovel at work. Adam was so happy to play in the snow that he was even willing to wear red snow pants. For those of you that know him well, you can appreciate what a big thing that is.
I think that is Caleb down in the background there. Poor thing.
In our backyard. I was having a hard time adjusting our camera's settings. It was early morning when I took the pictures, not the dead of night.
Loving the snow.
Telling me a story about the snow.
My snow boys. James was aching to get out too and kept leaning outside the door in an attempt to reach his dad and brothers but I thought it was best to keep him in with me since he can't walk yet. Maybe next year.
Adam figured he would help dad shovel by sweeping. It worked pretty well and he was really proud of himself.
Bundled up.
Little boy in a big, white world.
