One of the first things we did in California was carve pumpkins. My parents gave us these amazing pumpkins that they had grown in their garden. They were so lovely it seemed a shame to cause their early decomposition, but their not the first thing we have sacrificed for the Berg boys' happiness and they won't be the last.
I love to carve pumpkins. Eric does not but he does it anyway to make me happy. The boys went through different stages of helpfulness.
Eric and I started as the main contributors to this event.
Adam finally picked up his little saw and gave it a go.
I think he had some fun.
His finished pumpkin.
Caleb was way more concerned with eating than helping.
But he was eventually tempted by the pumpkin tools. Who could resist a scooper and a saw?
Didn't he do an amazing job?
James was our helper. He pushed the cart with the pumpkins from the garden.
He threw pumpkin guts away. Why do toddlers always choose the gross jobs?
Look at those AMAZING pumpkins!
