The Southern California Fair

The Southern California Fair is held at the Perris fairgrounds which means it is literally five minutes from my parent's house. I really enjoy fairs. Mostly I just enjoy funnel cakes but where else can you get a good one of those than a fair? We had a truly blessed time with grandma and grandpa at the fair.

We borrowed a double stroller for the outing. We put the two little ones in it thinking they would be the slowest walkers (in David's case really slow) but we soon realized that James was using this opportunity to torture his little brother and had to rescue him. It's hard to be the youngest.

We rode on the carousel (thank you grandpa) and it was a big hit. The boys were in ride heaven.

Letting go for a moment to wave hi to mom.

Adam really liked it.

No, really, really liked it.

No, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY liked it.

Caleb tried out the petting zoo with grandpa. None of my other kids were brave enough to go. Such a strange concept for a woman who grew up with hoards of animals.

We saw several variety shows while we were there. I was amazed that the boys paid so much attention to what was happening on stage. Why don't they do that in church? Hmmmm.

We did so many fun things while we were there but I stopped taking pictures after this for some reason. Obviously I was just caught up in the wonderment of it all. What a great night.
