The Randomness Of California

Adam had Fall Break in October and I decided I really wanted to visit my folks so we loaded everyone up and took a drive. It was way too much fun and I took way too many pictures. Here are just a few to start us off.

We usually stop at this park in Mesquite to let the kids play for a few minutes before we strap them back into the car and make our final stint. Caleb was having way too much fun on this slide.

James thought it was pretty amazing too.

Everyone spent some time on the bars. All in all I would say it was the highlight of the drive.

My grandma Bev was doing some house cleaning and found puzzles that I used to play with when I visited her during my childhood.  She was nice enough to give them to my mom and now Adam and Caleb get to play with them at their grandma's house. They were very contemplative about the whole thing.

Very pensive indeed.

This is David's angry-at-the-paparazzi look. Harsh, I know.

My parents had gotten a new toy since our last visit. Caleb thought it was fun.

James thought it was great and used it over, and over, and over again. Yes, James is wearing his pajamas. Sometimes the fun at Grandma and Grandpa's starts before mom does.

Visiting with Grandma.

My mom (and me too) is very into DoTerra essential oils. James thinks the oil bottles are toys and really enjoys organizing and sorting them over and over again. He eventually gets so excited that he starts throwing them and then we have to put them up but, until that happens, he play in quiet felicity.

Trying out Uncle Joseph's new Ipad.

My number four enjoying his mom and grandma.
