A Picnic Inside

Last month we had a picnic inside per Adam's request. I think he saw it on a tv show and wanted to give it a try. Adam would have been content with just chips and juice but I thought the rest of us might enjoy something a little more akin to a meal so I bought some fruit and made some sandwiches as well. Who would have thought that a picnic inside would have been such an amazing experience for everyone. 

James and Caleb loved their juice boxes. It's not something I buy often and they were in juice box heaven. You can see that Caleb basically stopped eating his meal once I gave one to him.

David was happy to be included but I think he really wanted to be released from his highchair so he could rampage through the food on the tablecloth on the floor. 

Eric impressed us all with his ability to throw food in the air and catch it in his mouth. You can just see an orange slice falling here if you look closely. 

Caleb also wanted to try it but he kept closing his mouth at the wrong moment. 

Eric finally helped him out a little. 

That led to Adam thinking he would help Eric out a little as well. 

Which led James to think that he should participate as well. As you ponder the fact that all this food  was delivered by grubby hands, please take a moment to appreciate my husband for the amazing father he is. I certainly do.
