We spent Labor Day Weekend in Buley this year and we had so much fun. I know Labor Day was actually on the 1st of September but I thought it would be silly to split our trip into two separate blogs just because I have a little ocd when it comes to blogging my months. Aren't you proud of my maturity?
There is always such tasty food provided for us in Burley and, as you can see, David is a big fan of Grandpa's cooking.
James hasn't used a high-chair in ages but he decided that if David was having so much fun in one then he should as well. He got pretty excited about the whole thing.
We had to have a family cookout.
Adam loves to roast things even though he doesn't eat them.
David shows no caution around the fire. Jasie was kind enough to protect him.
At least Alli got that this was a cousin photo op.
Jasie and Alyson spent some sister time charing marshmallows together.
James thought the fire was a little too hot. I'm sure his marshmallow eventually browned......
Did I mention that David loves to eat?
And eat. He kept stealing other people's corn because he just couldn't get enough.
Caleb's favorite thing was Grandpa's rhubarb punch. So, so yummy.
Oh my goodness! I think he's eating something! No, wait...... it's just some chocolate from the s'mores.
James thought he would have some too. He obviously didn't think this was an appropriate photo op.
Caleb and James spent some time scaling the front retaining wall.
There were lots of rocks and trees to climb.
Alli joined in too.
They look like they're getting into something.........
My David is so stinkin' gross and cute all at the same time. I have never known a baby to drool as much as he does.
And to end this recounting of our trip on a very happy note, some images of my amusing James. He had clipped hair things to his toes and just couldn't contain his excitement any longer!
He fell asleep in the middle of all the chaos of life. He is much like his daddy in his ability to doze off with no prior notice.
Look at the enthusiasm here! What a goof! Love this boy!
