Random, random, random. I love little random moments in my life.
We spend quite a bit of time outside when Adam is at school. The boys sometimes sit with me on the porch instead of playing. We obviously need to buy a few more chairs since David doesn't seem to like sharing....
James just can't understand why everyone can't get along and smile.
We spent one Saturday afternoon at a park. The boys loved every minute of it. Adam helping David with his sliding.
Caleb going it alone.
My goofy two-year-old.
Come to think of it, David is pretty goofy himself.
James was just sure he could reach that first bar if he just tried hard enough. He thinks he is so big.
Cutest baby ever!
Look a my handsome husband's amazing leap. His boys were so impressed.
The wobbling bridge made David a little unsteady on his feet and Adam wanted to help him make it across without having to crawl. Such a sweet older brother.
James almost fell asleep in this basket. Too, too funny.
A few days later we heard a loud crash upstairs after bedtime and James came down crying. We knew they had been roughhousing but didn't really know what had happened to him. He wouldn't let us touch his right hand and he fell asleep on the couch next to me. The next morning when he woke up he still wouldn't let me touch it so we went to urgent care when they examined and x-rayed it. Of course, by the time we left he was smiling and letting everyone touch it. I hate when they make me look like a neurotic mother.
As you can see. He had rendered his snoopy sling quite useless and was quite upset that I was trying to document the moment. David couldn't understand his protests.
After all, he loves picture time.
No really, don't take that picture!
Please! Take my picture! I'm so cute!
A rare smiling Caleb moment. So cute when he wants to be.
And finally, my garden woes. I picked several snails off my squash plants. Snails are gross and should go live somewhere else. Luckily they didn't do any damage.
Unlike the three-year-old from next door who did plenty of damage to my green tomatoes when she picked them and threw them on the pavement. I hate neighbors sometimes.
Yay for the randomness of August!
