We were so excited last month to get a visit from the Bairs. They stayed in a hotel nearby so we could hang and we all made use of the heated pool provided therein.
The hot tub obviously had some sort of chemical imbalance because it was foaming bubbles but the boys didn't seem to care. James even got artistic with it.
David just thought it was funny.
Adam took a moment to stress with Aunt Alyson about the fact that they did not bring a pair of blue goggles that looked like.......
These ones. He really wanted to wear them but he really didn't like that they weren't blue. It was very stressful for a while there.
Luckily he finally gave in with some patient coaxing from dad and went with the pink. Smart boy.
Rebekah came with us but did not get in the water (neither did her mom). Instead, she hung out with Aunt Alyson.
Chilling with the girls.
Caleb was super, super excited to be there.
No, really, SUPER excited!
Cute Alli.
David took a turn about the pool with Uncle Cody.
And Caleb went off on his own fully equipped with every swimming accessory known to man.
James doned both pink goggles and foam. He was styling!
After our fun in the pool Alli took a moment to hold Rebekah. They are the only girl cousins on the Berg side.
Beautiful girls!
Drayke also took a moment to hold the new baby.
The next day both Eric and I had to work and Alyson and Cody were nice enough to babysit. Cody thought it was a good time to nap while the boys hovered nearby.
Caleb loves Alli and the two of them wandered upstairs to play for a while.
David chilling with Cody and some chips.
Alyson and Cody brought their dogs to play too. David thought he should feed them whatever he was eating. I'm sure Alyson appreciated that.
James thought he should visit the puppies' crate.
David looking like he is the one who locked James in the crate.
Large enough for two dogs and two small boys.......
They took the dogs for a walk around our cul-de-sac.
David lost his dog temporarily.
But quickly recovered.
And then somehow ended up with two dogs....
Alli and Caleb ended their day playing in the sandbox. Alli was obviously hungry enough to eat that tasty looking pinecone.
And Caleb played along. We are so grateful that the Bairs came to visit us and can't wait to see them again soon!
