Caleb's birthday comes first in our chain of April birthday celebrations and he knows it. This boy loves his birthday because he loves new toys meant just for him and he loves cake. It is truly his favorite day of the year.

There were lots of transformer oriented toys and books this birthday. They are quite popular with him right now.
Adam wanted to help unwrap some of the presents. Caleb seemed ok with the offer and I breathed a sigh of relief that no tears were shed.
His parents got him a boring memory game this year but he seemed ok with our offering.
Aunt Lauren gave him $10 to spend any way he wished. He thought that was pretty swell and immediately set me to searching the amazon catalog for the perfect gift once everyone was gone.
Cousin Maddie was so happy to join us for the celebration.
She was even happier to meet her new cousin Rebekah. They are the only girl cousins on the Elkins side of the family so far. We girls have to stick together!
Eric took a moment after the present opening to read to Caleb while he transformed his new Bumblebee.
Cousin Emmett was way happy to celebrate as well. Look at that cute smile.
Caleb turned four this year and doesn't he look grown up! What happened to my little baby?
He helped decorate his cake too. Can you tell?
After most of the others had left, Aunt Kate helped Caleb put together one of his new toys. He was so excited to have her help him.
And, at the end of another satisfying birthday, our big boy flies off into the sunset, already pondering what to ask for next year.
