4th Of July Celebration

We were so very lucky to spend 4th of July at our house this year with both sets of grandparents and other extended family. The boys had so much fun with everyone and it was so nice to celebrate a holiday in our new home.

James enjoying some of Grandpa Logan's special rhubarb drink. So, so yummy.

David eating who-knows-what.

Caleb and Adam were so happy to see Alli. They think she is amazing.

Rebekah loves her sweet Aunt Jasie. Aren't they pretty together?

Sweet little pink thing.

This is such a handsome face. Love those brown eyes.

David has such fun with Aunt Alyson. He was laughing so hard with her.

Grandma Cheryl and Adam enjoying an in depth conversation about.......? Whatever it was, it was very important.

When night fell we armed our two grandpas and our dad with lighters and lit up some lovely sparklers.

Adam enjoying a somber, intense moment with his sparkler.

Alli holds her sparkler like a girl. I love that.

Aunt Alyson helping Caleb give his sparkler a whirl.

Aunt Kate making sure David didn't kill himself or anyone else while he used a sparkler for the first time. He is David after all.

Uncle Kevin enchanting his Seth.

I asked James to show me his sparkler and this is what I got picture wise. I promise he is back there somewhere.

Once the sparklers all burned out we moved on to some driveway fireworks. Aren't they pretty!?

Alli and Adam watching the fireworks.

David thought they were pretty cool.

And James was enchanted.

Jasie thought the fireworks were so amazing that she got out her phone to record them while Alli got comfortable on Grandma Cheryl's lap.

Kate was nice enough to try and corral David who, of course, wanted to see the fireworks close up. He is so good at being two.

Part of our excited fireworks audience. Ooooooooo....Awwwwwww......

Alyson was in charge of keeping track of whose turn it was to pick the next firework. It was very organized and my ocd personality totally appreciated her skills.

James thought some of the fireworks were much too loud.

Me and my friend Seth. Poor boy was so, so tired by that time of night.

This firework display had everyone on the edge of their seats.

In the end, David thought the fireworks show was so amazing.....

That he just had to share his excitement with Grandpa Todd. It was a good, good day.
