Halloween 2015

Halloween this year started with me deciding not to make anyone's costume. I have decided that I need to try and simplify my chaotic life, even if it means spending a little more. Luckily, by the time we actually went to buy the costumes they were 75% off and so it was really a win-win situation all the way around.

I present to you a marauder, the red dino power ranger, optimus, prime, spider man.....

And a little bald Snow White.  Isn't she cute!?

Five dressed up Berg children.

We attended our ward Halloween party this year and someone was nice enough to take a picture of us. We had a lot of fun there until David disappeared several times started purposely spilling water everywhere once we found him and brought him back. Oh David....

A marauder (clash of clans inspired I think).

A jazzy Optimus Prime.

A darling Red Dino Power Ranger.

A proud Spiderman.

And a lovely Snow White who had no idea why we dressed her up and made he leave her warm home to walk around the neighborhood in the dark. It's so hard to be the youngest.

My trick-or-treaters.

Waiting expectantly.

This house was passing out microwave popcorn. It was a big hit.

Aunt Kate and a happy Rebekah.

David's mask slid so far down his face that he was mostly blinded but he wouldn't let us fix it. It made for a very slow but darling walk around the neighborhood.

Red lashes to match Snow White's red bow.

My handsome husband the basketball player and his little princess.

We found some ghosts for a lovely photo backdrop. Caleb was busy adoring his little sister and forgot to look at the camera.

Once we were home it was time to look through our loot.

Caleb was especially thrilled with his haul since he is my candy fiend.

A forced smile from James. He didn't really want to take a picture just then. He wanted to eat as much candy as possible before bedtime.

David wasn't content to focus on his own candy and ran around the house stealing his brothers' candy as well. Oh David......

The day after Halloween we carved our pumpkins. Honestly, I was trying to avoid carving them at all by that point but my three oldest couldn't let a Halloween pass without participating in the tradition. James was really my only helpful helper.

Adam and Caleb think pumpkin guts are too gross to touch but they are more than willing to watch and give direction when needed.

Happy Halloween 2015! We sure had fun and can't wait to do it again next year!
