A Visit From Family

The coincidence of Adam's birthday and the BYU Family History Conference called for a gathering of a large part of the Elkins family in July. We had a long visit from Grandma Pamela and Carly as well as shorter visits from the Utah Elkins'. We had way too much fun.

The boys took some time to experiment with Carly's temporary bed. This is also known as a pile of boys.

Our ward's 24th of July breakfast and parade was also held during that same week and we decided to make it a family affair.

Caleb rode his bike during the parade. Adam ran. We recorded some of it and uploaded it here if you would like to have a look-see ;)

Uncle Joseph trying to be patient with all out tomfoolery at the parade. Just a few minutes more Joseph. I promise.

Home life was super fun with everyone here to play. David was our super happy boy.

These two thought it would be a good idea to eat orange peels. Contrary to their facial expressions, they actually really liked them. Babies are weird.

This girl loves her daddy.

Even when he tries to pester her.

James and Carly had lots of fun while she was here. This boy loves selfies.

These two are best friends. I love it!

Dog pile on grandma! She looks like she might be in pain there. What a good sport.

Grandma and I canned apricots and apricot jam while she was here and Caleb was fascinated by the boxes of pectin. Look at that creative stacking.

A love from Uncle Joseph is always very nice.

And finally, We celebrated Joseph's 25th birthday the day after Adam's 8th. Happy birthday little brother! May you have many more!
