Temple Square

One day during our wild week of visitors we packed all the kids up and headed to temple square. For a few of them it was the first time they had experienced the grounds of the beautiful Salt Lake Temple. The boys, being the active individuals they are, thought all the open spaces and water features were perfect for a rambunctious and energetic afternoon.

A few of us pausing to rest after our walk from the car. The kids were mostly unaffected by all the walking but the adults could totally appreciate the heat and the humidity of a July afternoon.

A pool of clear water makes for a happy David.

The five older boys surveying their newly discovered territory.

Round and round they go.

Where they'll stop, nobody knows!

Oh, there. They'll stop there. Isn't that just the cutest bunch of cousins!?

The Salt Lake Temple in all it's glory.

We tried to get a picture of all the cousins together on the steps of the temple. 1 of 7 faces looking at the camera isn't very good odds.

But since I lost them all in this one and Adam started picking his nose in between clicks, I guess I have to say the former picture is the winner.

Our amazing family. One day I hope to have a family picture where I don't look exhausted......

Adam!

My sweet Bekah and her amazing grandma. I LOVE this picture.

Another fountain called the boys' names and they couldn't resist. I'm truly surprised no one fell in.

An amazing afternoon at Temple Square. We loved every minute.
