4th of July Fireworks

And finally we arrived at the climax of our visit to Burley, and the reason we were able to visit for so long, the celebration of  the 4th of July.

I LOVE fireworks and we arrived in Burley super prepared for the occasion.

Everyone taking their places on the hill.

Aren't they cuties?

David loves to cuddle with his Jasie.

Adam and Allie decided we were too close to the fireworks that were being set off and put their blanket on the other side of the yard.

Perhaps they were inspired because the fireworks I bought were a little too powerful and one of them fell over and shot into our crowd. Luckily, only our blanket paid the price.

After that, the fireworks were taken down to the dock so we could set them off over the lake. It was a much safer option and made for a beautiful presentation.

We also went to go see the fireworks that the city set off over the river. While we waited the kids ate some mega otter-pops with gusto.

Blue-eyed boy.

Happy girl.

Handsome boy.

I'm so happy he chose to participate.

Once again we experienced the quiet of eating children. I appreciate every minute!

Waiting for the fireworks to start. We eventually had to walk down toward the river to see them a little better but I loved the time we got to have together before they went off. Family is amazing!
