Holly

I'm just a sucker for animals. That's how I'll preface this blog post. In July we thought for five seconds or so that we were moving to a house with more land. Excitedly I put a deposit down on a cute little coon hound. When we ended up staying (don't tell me you are surprised) I couldn't bear to let her go and we ended up adding another dog to our family. 

She's in there. I promise. Gabby was all sorts of excited when we brought her home. I couldn't tell if she was going to eat her or smother her with love. 

Holly just cowered. Poor thing. 

James was super excited to get a new puppy. He is my animal lover. He has since told me that Gabby is still his favorite but it was touch and go there for a while. 

Adam wanted to squeeze a turn in but quickly abandoned his attempt. It was just too crazy. 

A moment of sweetness from David. It didn't last long. 

There she is. Isn't she adorable?

Gabby thought so too. 

Rebekah was all wonderment which was a great improvement from the crying she did when we brought Gabby home. 

Gabby pursued our new little puppy for days. 

Even when she was trying to get some sleep. She was just too exciting to leave alone. 

Eventually we had to lock her in her kennel so she could get some time alone. 

This face is precious. Two months later Holly is a permanent member of the family and she and Gabby couldn't be happier. Our house may be small but it is filled with love.
