We also got to celebrate our sweet Seth's birthday in September. This boy is one of my most favorite people and I am so blessed to call myself his aunt.
The happy birthday boy turned 4!
James enjoying some birthday cake and ice cream.
A pained look from David who didn't want to stop eating long enough to let me take a picture.
Seth's party was held at a local park and Rebekah spent much of her time in the swings. Adam was nice enough to take a turn pushing.
Dad can push and give knuckles all at the same time.
Happy boy.
James was quite the high climber this time around. He has such little fear.
A squinty-eyed, sliding David.
Still a squinty-eyed, sliding David.
Look at that monkey go!
Dad chasing his girl up the stairs.
I don't think Caleb is feeling the love here.
Or here. I guess I'm glad Adam is in the mood.
There he goes. I knew he could smile.
Handsome, sweaty, brown-eyed boy.
I thought for just a minute during the party that I had lost my children. After a millisecond of panic I found them on the other side of the park watching two college students play volleyball.
The boys seemed to think this impromptu sporting event was the best part of the birthday party. Which leads me to wonder: what is it with boys and balls?
