The Randomness Of September

Here we go! Our never-to-be-forgotten moments of September:

It was David's turn to party with his dad in September. They went to a BYU Football game.

David is one of our more squirly children and Eric ended up moving a little further back on the bleachers to give him room to wiggle. He also bought him some treats to keep him happy. They came home at half time but Eric, amazing father that he is, didn't complain and David thought the whole thing was lovely.

He even got the traditional pose with the BYU cougar.

Caleb was quite proud of himself when he made a "C" out of his chip. "C" for Caleb, you know.

These two are best buds now. On that day they were hiding from David under my bed.

As you can see, he is a little spazzy around them.

Me and my girl. Doesn't she have the most beautiful eyes?!

Caleb is such a talented master builder. He constantly surprises me.

Not at all dangerous or worrisome.

We grew some carrots in our garden this year. My children acted a little sissy-ish when I asked them to take a bite. They claimed that the big carrots tasted too carrot-y unlike the baby carrots we get from the store. Oh children.....

Holly learned how to climb up on the furniture.

I dyed my hair purple in September. I've always wanted to and have never had the guts to do it. I decided once it was dyed that I didn't really like having purple hair. It just wasn't me. Thankfully, it washed out after a few weeks. Despite my reaction to the color, I'm not sad that I did it. If I hadn't, I would still be wondering what it was like to have purple hair.

James decorated himself in magnets.

Which made Rebekah want to do it too.

Another one of Caleb's marvelous creations.

I'm not quite sure what is happening here but the use of Rebekah's flower hairband as part of his game really cracks me up.

It's so hard to be a Berg Boy. So very tiring. What a great September.
