Thanksgiving break was spent in Burley this year! We had a few blessed days of family and fun.
Grandma and Grandpa certainly know how to prepare for the Berg Boys. Chips, goldfish, and popcorn galore. They loved every bit of it and managed to significantly empty the cupboard by the time we had to go home.
David chose Aunt Monica as his new friend. He loves her! We are so grateful that she moved back from New York shortly before Thanksgiving.
We played games, games, games while we were in Burley. Sorry is one of their favorites.
Grandma bought a PJ Masks matching game and David was in heaven. He, of course, assumed Grandma had bought it just for him and took complete possession of it.
Grandma was nice enough to play with him many times, even while tending to other grandchildren ;)
David also convinced the population at large to play with him. What a clever boy!
There was also a new pack of Uno cards. Caleb acquired too many cards during the game and needed Dad's help to fan them out. He doesn't seem to mind.
So many players!
Cute Caleb.
Sly James.
Happily aggressive Adam.
The river was super low during our visit and Grandma Cheryl was nice enough to take everyone down to look for treasures. I was not quite so adventurous and decided to make my zoom lens do the work from the house deck high above.
While they were down by the river they found empty mussel shells, cool glass bottles, and so many more treasures.
Rebekah the beach comber.
Caleb looking at what Grandma found.
David with no shoes and one sock. I'm not quite sure what his plan was here. I just know that this is a purely David picture.
Rebekah trying to leave the search early. I think perhaps our girl is afraid of heights.
Grandma and her little chicks. Ain't Burley grand!
