January 2018 brought with it just a little bit of snow. The Berg children jumped on it as soon as they were available. Their dad and I were happy to assist in their endeavors and record them for posterity.
Everyone wanted a repeat of the snow cave/slide that Eric had built last year. Unfortunately, there wasn't quite enough snow for a cave and an amazing slide was all he could do.
James and Adam gathering snow for the slide.
Everyone helping to pat it down.
There goes James!
You better move David! She's a comin'!
Caleb tried to make a snowman but gave up after a few minutes and started to eat the snow instead. He doesn't look very upset about the lack of a snowman.
My Bekah girl LOVES to eat snow. She freezes her hands off every time.
But it never stops her.
The making of snow angels was the next snow-fall tradition that needed to be upheld. Caleb made an excellent one.
As did James although he seemed a little put out by the process.
Such manly angels!
David evaluating his work.
Rebekah needed a little help with her angel. Isn't she the cutest?
After we had all gotten cold an had wandered inside to partake of some hot chocolate, my James stayed in the cold snow until I called him in and made him get warm. We have a snow child in our midst.
