Baby Ruth

Baby Ruth, cousin number seven on the Elkins side, was blessed in July and family gathered from near and far to celebrate. 

Adam loves babies and Ruth is no exception. He wants to hold her constantly and barely controls himself when it comes to squeezing the cuteness out of her. 

Niece number four for Aunt Kate. She's pretty happy with her. 

This boy did such a good job holding Ruth. Gentle as can be. 

David took advantage of Grandpa's visit and brought out his baby book for show-and-tell. Grandpa was a very good sport. 

Bekah made Grandma Pamela her home base. Grandma was in charge of watching all of Rebekah's rocks. It was such an important job.

Rebekah insisted on wearing her own blessing outfit (which has been hanging in her closet) to Ruth's blessing. Since the torso section of the dress was meant for a 3-6 month old it was quite a squeeze. Luckily, she didn't seem to mind when I put a white shirt underneath it and didn't button up the back. Needless to say, I hid that baby as soon as she took it off after church. 

This is what Seth thinks of all the visiting and family togetherness. I couldn't agree more my Seth. I couldn't agree more.
